Transplant Games of America 2012

Well Done! Team Finger Lakes picked up 20 medals at the Games in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The 2012 Transplant Games of America took place on the campus of Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, from July 28 through 31.

The purpose of the Transplant Games of America is to spread the message about the importance of organ donation, the second chance of life, and proving that transplantation does work. Most important, it is hoped that more Americans will decide to give the gift of life.

In addition to drawing in transplant recipients, also present at the Games were donor families and living organ donors.
